The Superannuation programs are available across different levels, ranging from introductory awareness programs through to advanced specialist knowledge courses.


Superannuation Generic Knowledge
The FSC Superannuation Generic Knowledge Program is designed to provide participants with an initial introduction and overview of the Australian superannuation market.

The program covers:


  • Introduction to Superannuation

  • Superannuation Legislation and Regulation

  • Employer Superannuation obligations

  • Superannuation Contribution considerations

  • Key Superannuation benefits Payment Considerations


Delivery Options


  • Face-to-face: experienced industry presenters deliver the program through an interactive full-day (8-hour) workshop presentation for large group enrolments.

  • Distance Education: via our online Learner Management System


All participants will be provided with detailed reference materials and presentation slides.


Licensing options are also available for facilitation by in-house presenters.

Superannuation Applied Knowledge and Skills
The FSC Superannuation Applied Knowledge & Skills Program is designed to provide participants with a solid working knowledge of the Australian superannuation industry. By completing the program participants will gain a sound understanding of the features of different superannuation arrangements and key issues associated with the application, operation, taxation and administration of various super product types.


Delivery Options


  • Face-to-face: experienced industry presenters deliver the program over 6 intensive 2 hour sessions conducted on a weekly basis. Delivered in an interactive format to encourage participant interaction in an open learning environment.

  • Distance Education: via our online Learner management System for course material and assessments with telephone/email support from our industry professionals.


All participants will be provided with program reference notes as a practical reference tool for future use.


Assessment
Participants are required to complete a short online assignment after each of the first 5 sessions.


Final assessment is undertaken at the completion of the course.
Participants are required to pass both ongoing assessment and final assessment to successfully complete the program.


Failure to successfully complete program final assessments may incur an additional fee of $65.00 per resit.

RG 146 Superannuation Specialist Knowledge
The FSC Superannuation Pathway RG 146 Specialist Knowledge Program is designed to further develop a participant's superannuation knowledge, consistent with the Superannuation Specialist Knowledge requirements of ASIC Regulatory Guide 146. Tailored for delivery to individuals who are not involved actively in the provision of personal retail financial advice, the program will provide an appreciation of the relevance and application of this level of superannuation knowledge.


Delivery Options


  • Facilitated self-study basis: experienced industry presenters deliver the program over 7 intensive 2 hour sessions conducted on a weekly basis. Delivered in an interactive format to encourage participant interaction in an open learning environment. The face-to-face tuition sessions provide a forum for the discussion of complex matters, review of case study questions and participant Q&A.

  • Distance Education: participants are provided with all program reference materials to undertake the program on a distance self study basis with telephone/email support from our industry professionals.


Assessment
Participants are required to complete a comprehensive case study assignment.


Final assessment is undertaken at the completion of the course. Participants are required to pass both the case study assignment and the final assessment to successfully complete the program.


Failure to successfully complete program final assessments may incur an additional fee of $95.00 per resit.
